About Us

The nursery operates from the ground floor of a two story building. We have 2 grassed areas to the front and side of the building (with the front area also having a soft play area) another 2 areas at the back that are concrete allowing for bikes, ball play and free play with familiar everyday equipment such as crates, cardboard tubes, pots and pans, sheets etc and a small sensory garden to the side.

We are very big on outdoor play and have free flow access from the Preschool room to the front playground and provide free flow from 2-3's room to the side, grassed area. Linked to this play area is our very own vegetable patch where the children love to plant, look after, pick and eat their own fruit and vegetables

We have CCTV which covers all of our outdoor areas to ensure our children are in the safest environment possible.

We use an online learning journal so parents can access their child's learning and contribute valuable experiences which help play a vital part in their child's learning.

The nursery is open from 7am–6pm 5 days a week 51 weeks of the year as we are closed for 1 week over Christmas and all Bank Holidays.

We run a before and after school club and also have a holiday club .

We are a fully inclusive setting with all rooms having disability access and we also have a disabled toilet.

We support children with possible additional needs and work alongside outside agencies to ensure their needs are met. We have our very own sensory room equipped with various fabrics, light and sensory items allowing the children to explore and develop at their own pace.

At present we are supporting various children who are working with outside agencies such as speech and language therapists and dietitians etc or are looked after children. We also offer our free areas in Nursery for families with contact issues or that are in need of supervised access.
