3-5 Room 

Our preschool accommodates up to 40 children aged 3-5. Natalie is the room leader,  Natalie is qualified to level 3 in childcare and level 2 in team Leading. Natalie has worked for Green Top for the last 7 years. working alongside Natalie is Alisha, our level 2 apprentice who will soon be working towards her level 3. Alisha has worked at Green Top since October 2021. 

Preschool have the run of 2 large rooms with free flow access to their own outdoor play area.

These rooms include a messy area, mark making areas, a home corner, construction area, heuristic area, small world area, sand and water areas, book and computer corner, sensory area and maths area. This room has direct access to its own age appropriate bathroom with child size toilets and sinks to promote self help skills and good hygiene.

We stick to government set ratios of 1 adult to 8 children so staff members are deployed to this room as and when needed dependent on occupancy levels.

This room has a strong routine with lots of structure to ensure the children are confident and independent in preparation for school. A strong key worker system is in place with great parent partnership. We offer 15 hours free nursery education funding in this room to all eligible children along with 15 hours extended entitlement, so qualifying children can access the full 30 hour entitlement.
