0-2 Room

The 0-2's rooms are fully equipped with age appropriate resources for children aged 0-2 years (depending on their individual ability) and accommodates up to 17 children across 2 rooms. These rooms includes a soft play area, role play area, messy play area, small world area, a heuristic area, a cosy corner, 1 cot and an eating area.

The 0-2's rooms have direct access to their own changing area including a raised changing station and small toilet and sink. We also have fully stocked PPE cupboards and easily accessible named baskets for each child’s individual belongings (i.e. nappies, wipes dummies etc). We stick to government set ratios of 1 adult to 3 children so staff members are deployed as and when needed dependent on occupancy levels. A strong key group system is in place with great parent partnership. The leader of this room is Mandy Slater.
